WEST JORDAN, Utah (April 18-19) No. 21 Salt Lake Baseball (33-9, 18-2) swept CNCC in their four game series over the weekend. The Bruins have clinched first place for the SWAC regular season. 

Salt Lake won game one 10-1. CNCC scored their lone run in the top of the first, but were shut down by RHP Gage Olsen for the rest of the game. Olsen picked up his seventh win as he struck out seven batters in five innings. CF Luke Jacobs went 3-3 with an RBI double and a three-run jack. LF Chandler Reber hit a two-run home run in the fifth. C Boston Jacobs went 3-3 with an RBI single and scored two runs. 

The Bruins won game two 10-0 in five innings. Taylor Ayala picked up the win as he surrendered one hit in four innings and struck out five batters. C Easton Romero hit a two RBI double and walked with the bases loaded. 2B Jake Mortensen went 2-3 with an RBI triple and two runs scored. RF Hudson Manwaring added an RBI double, walked with bases loaded, and scored two runs. 

Salt Lake won game three 12-0 in five innings. 1B Jalen Seward homered and hit two RBI singles totaling 5 RBI. Jacobs and Manwaring combined for five RBI and both recorded two hits and scored two runs. Jaxon Grossman got the win and struck out seven batters in three innings. 

The Bruins closed out the Spartans with a 10-2 victory in eight innings. Salt Lake scored eight runs in the first inning. Mortensen went 3-5 with two RBI and recorded another triple. Luke Jacobs hit a solo home run in the eighth to end the game. Hunter Gotschall got the win, throwing three innings and striking out six batters.
