YUMA, Arizona (March  15-16, 2025)- No. 19 Bruins Baseball (13-7) won three out of four games against No. 22 Arizona Western College. 

Salt Lake took game one 3-2. Gage Olsen picked up the win. Olsen struck out six batters and only allowed one run. Hudson Manwaring homered for the Bruins and went 3-3 with two RBI. 

Jake Olsen's two-run HR was the difference in the second game as the Bruins won 2-0. Jaxon Grossman recorded the win. Grossman surrendered only one hit and recorded six strikeouts. 

The Bruins won game three 3-1. Salt Lake scored a run in the top of the third and then added two more runs in the sixth. 

Salt Lake lost game four 3-1. The Bruins struck first with a run in the top of the third, but the Matadors answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Arizona Western added the final run of the game in the bottom of the fifth and successfully avoided being swept.

Salt Lake will begin conference play against USU-Eastern March 21st and 22nd. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
