Salt Lake City, UTAH- No. 4 ranked SLCC Women's Soccer (15-2-2) had nine Bruins players make the All-Region Teams for the 2025 season including the SWAC Player of the Year and SWAC Goalkeeper of the Year.
Sophomore Sophie Eckery was named the Player of the Year. Eckery led Salt Lake with 12 goals and five assists on the season.
Sophomore Elle Rafajko was named the SWAC Goalkeeper of the Year. Rafajko made 47 saves on the season only allowing six goals. Elle recorded 12 clean sheets on the year and has committed to play soccer at Utah Tech University.
Lila Millward earned first-team honors as she scored 12 goals on the year including a hat trick in the Region 18 semi-final against CNCC. Millward posted three assists this season as well.
Midfielder Avery Thal was named to the second-team. Thal had six goals and an assists on the year as she commanded the midfield for the regular season champion Bruins.
Midfielder Sierra Jacobson was also named to the second-team. Jacobson tallied two assists on the year and played a big part in Salt Lake controlling possession throughout the season.
Seanna Harris earned second-team honors also. Harris recorded five goals and six assists on the year.
Nao Yamada received second-team all-region honor's. Yamada posted five assists and two goals this year. Yamada was very efficient on set pieces before suffering a season ending injury.
Jenna Nichols was named to the all-region third team. Nichols was solid for the Bruins and had six assists and five goals this season.
Jayla McFarland also earned third-team honors. McFarland stepped up due to an injury to her teammate and was a great defender for Salt Lake. Jayla tallied three goals and two assists this year.

The Bruins will compete in the NJCAA National Tournament if they receive an automatic bid.
