Murray, Utah- No. 7 Salt Lake defeated No. 14 Laramie County Community College 4-0 in each team's first game of the 2026 regular season. The Bruins scored two goals in each half and controlled possession throughout the game. 

Lizzie Cowdell scored twice, Alyssa Boydston added a goal, and Seanna Harris scored on a second half penalty kick. 

Manaka Shindo and Lexie Lund combined to record a clean sheet. Claire Cypers, Teya Snowder, and Harris each had one assist. The Bruins were aggressive offensively the entire game which led to three shots that went off the cross bar and the Bruins having more corner kicks than the Golden Eagles.
