TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Monday, March 11, 2024) – The Salt Lake Bruins have had a banner season, clinching the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title before blowing away North Idaho and Southern Idaho to earn the Region 18 championship.
The accolades continue rolling for SLCC as the No. 3 Bruins head coach, Kyle Taylor, was named SWAC Coach of the Year.
It is the second time Taylor has earned SWAC honors in his five seasons.
The Bruins are 142-19 with Taylor at the helm since being hired in 2019.
Salt Lake is 29-3 this season.

No. 3 SLCC travels to Arizona on Saturday, March 16, to face the Region 1 champion. The tip-off time is TBD.
The NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas, begins on Monday, March 25.
