TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 23, 2024) – The 2024 season officially begins Friday for the Salt Lake Community College baseball team. 
 
A season after advancing to the NJCAA College World Series, the Bruins will open the defense of their Region 18 championship with a four-game series in St. George. Salt Lake will play South Mountain Community College in doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
 
The Bruins will travel to Arizona for the 'Zinger Bat Invitational' tournament the first weekend of February. SLCC is scheduled to play Southern Idaho on March 8 in its home opener.
