Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, January 13, 2023) – No. 5 Salt Lake bounced back from its second loss of the season to beat North Idaho College 89-76.
The Bruins improved to 16-2 with the win.
It was Jordan Battle's turn to play sixth-man as the sophomore guard came off the bench to lead his team with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting. CJ Luster added 21 points and Bryce Zephir missed two shots on his way to 15 points.
Led by Battle and reserve forward Preston Squire's 17, the Bruins bench outscored NIC 41-32.
After more than a month of road games, SLCC returns to Bruin Arena on Thursday, January 18 when they host Community Christian College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. (MT).
