Men's Soccer: The No. 4 Bruins will play their first Scenic West contests at home this week, facing off against Pacific Northwest Community College and Truckee Meadows Community College.

Salt Lake will host Pacific Northwest at 3:30 p.m on Thursday, then will play host to Truckee Meadows on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. SLCC is currently second in the Scenic West standings.

Women's Soccer: No. 6 Salt Lake will return home for its first conference matches, playing host to a pair of Scenic West foes.

SLCC will host Pacific Northwest and Truckee Meadows this weekend, playing Pacific Northwest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salt Lake will work to continue upon a strong performance it had on the road against Southern Nevada, which resulted in a SLCC win.

Bruins coach Amy LePeilbet said her team is looking forward to the challenges of the weekend.

"Our goal for this week is to put together two full 90-minute matches," she said. "We don't want to take one minute off in either of these games."

In looking ahead to the weekend, LePeilbet said the Bruins are focused on balancing the challenges of both opponents.

"We are playing a new team (Pacific Northwest) in our conference on Thursday, which will be fun," she said. "We are playing Truckee Meadows on Saturday, which will be a good game. They are always a very organized team that can be dangerous around the box. We will have to be organized defensively, and we must be intelligent with some urgency in the attack to get a positive result."
