Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, December 16, 2023) – The Bruins improved to 11-4 with an 87-53 win over Northwest College in their final game of 2023.
All 12 Salt Lake players scored in the seventh straight win for the program.
Heaven Samayoa-Mathis scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting to lead SLCC.
Sophomore guard Bati Assefa added a career-high 13 points while Ines Gnahore chipped in 11. Both were a perfect 3-for-3 from deep in the win.
Ana Oliveira Dias filled the box score with 11 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Post freshmen Jeanne Rodriguez and Laura Di Stefano each scored 10 points to round out SLCC's six double-digit scorers.
Salt Lake doesn't play again until they face Central Wyoming on Friday, January 5. Tip-off is at 3:30 p.m. (MT) in Riverton, Wyoming. Grayer's group beat the Rustlers 93-34 on December 1.
