TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (May 2, 2022) – The Salt Lake Community College Athletic Department will close its Spring 2022 season on the road, with postseason opportunities still forthcoming.
The No. 12 SLCC Baseball team will travel to play its final series at Community Christian College, with the Scenic West regular-season title already wrapped up. SLCC Softball will play an in-state rival – Snow College – to close its regular season.

Baseball: The No. 12 Bruins will have one final tune-up in advance of next weekend's Region 18 tournament at Cate Field.
Salt Lake will play a four-game series with Community Christian starting Tuesday, with a doubleheader on Wednesday. The Bruins previously swept CCC in four games at Cate Field in March.
SLCC will play host to next weekend's Region 18 tournament, which will begin on Wednesday, May 11. Softball: Salt Lake is sitting in second place in Scenic West standings, trying to make a late push to the league's top spot.
The Bruins are four games behind Southern Idaho as they prepare to travel for a four-game series at Snow College. SLCC went 3-1 against Snow at home, needing to sweep Snow and then have Southern Idaho swept by Colorado Northwestern to have a chance at the league title. Southern Idaho would earn a tiebreaker on head-to-head.
Salt Lake is 9-3 in its last four series.
