Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 26, 2022) – Another series down, another series victory earned by the Salt Lake Community College Baseball team.
 
The Bruins won their fourth consecutive Scenic West Athletic Conference series, finishing off a four-game sweep over in-state rival USU Eastern with a 10-0 run-rule victory. The win boosts SLCC to 21-5 overall and 15-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
Dalton Hodge had an RBI triple in the first inning to lift the Bruins to a 2-0 lead, then Bruer Webster batted in a run in the second inning. SLCC scored seven runs in the third inning, with Hodge hitting a two-run home run and Zachary Blaszak posting a three-run double. Karson Bodily also hit an RBI double in the frame.
 
Ernesto Lugo-Canchola earned the pitching win, throwing five strikeouts in four innings. 
 
Salt Lake will host Community Christian in a four-game series next weekend at Cate Field.
