Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 10, 2021) – The Salt Lake Community College baseball team completed a Scenic West Athletic Conference road series sweep on Saturday.
 
SLCC picked up a 12-5 win at Colorado Northwestern, finishing off a 4-0 series record against the Spartans. The win lifts Salt Lake to 21-13 overall and 14-6 in Scenic West play.
 
A Travis Johnson RBI double helped the Bruins take an early lead, with Dalton Hodge later hitting a solo home run in the third inning. CNCC tied the game at 3-3 but Salt Lake responded in the fourth inning, scoring a trio of runs that were keyed by a Chase Peterson RBI single. SLCC continued to score runs later in the game, with Sean Keating hitting an RBI double in the sixth inning and Blaszak posting an RBI double in the seventh inning. 
 
Spencer Jones earned the pitching win, with Blake Whiting getting the save in the victory. 
 
Salt Lake will host the College of Southern Idaho next weekend.
