Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (December 18, 2021) – There is no better way to head into a holiday break than on the tails of a victory, which the No. 1 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team will experience in the coming weeks.

SLCC earned a 94-64 win over in-state rival Snow College, powering to a 43-27 halftime lead to finish the pre-Christmas play with a perfect record. With the win, the Bruins are now 14-0 overall and 5-0 in Scenic West play.

Kyle Taylor said he was impressed with his team's strong play to end the Fall semester.

"I'm really impressed with our maturity to finish off the first semester," she said. "Snow was short-handed tonight and missing three starters who are really good players, but we did what we needed to do. We played hard, pressed well and rotated behind the press."

After so many games of stunning offensive play, the Bruins focused more on defense in this game as they limited the Badgers to just 38.2 percent shooting, including a 2-of-19Â mark from three-point range. Salt Lake forced 18 Snow turnovers in the game. The Bruins also controlled the paint in the game, holding a 52-32 edge in points-in-the-paint. Offensively, Salt Lake also shot 59.4 percent from the field, going 21-of-33 from the field in the second half.

Doctor Bradley led the Bruins with 15 points, going 5-of-6 from the field.
Quincy McGriff scored 14 points, while
Tanner Cuff and
Jordan Brinson posted 11 points.
Marion Humphrey and
Chase Adams both scored 10 points.Â

"We got quantity contributions from a lot of different guys," Taylor said. "I thought
Jordan Brinson really set the tone with his defense and intensity.
