Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 6, 2021) – The No. 1 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball program provided another strong performance in preseason action Saturday, powering to a non-conference win to close out a weekend tournament.
 
SLCC earned a dominant 149-70 win over Jump Start, a regional club program, to move to 2-0 on the young season. The Bruins also finished a sweep of their home tournament with the win.
 
Offensive prowess was the common theme of the night for Salt Lake, with SLCC shooting .610 for the game. The Bruins led 69-27 at halftime, limiting Jump Start to just 10-of-29 shooting in the period.
 
"I love the balance of our team right now," said Bruins coach Kyle Taylor. "Everyone is playing, everyone is contributing, and different guys are stepping up on different nights. It's been fun to watch early in the season."
 
Doctor Bradley led Salt Lake with 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting, while Festus Ndumanya had a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds. Chase Adams posted 15 points, and Max Watson had 14 points. Marion Humphrey posted 12 points, Jaxon Pollard had 11 points and Jackson Last finished with 10 points. 
 
"We had some guys really standout tonight," said Taylor. "Doctor Bradley with 24 points, Chase Adams with a triple double with points, assists and steals, and Festus Ndumanya with a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds."
 
Salt Lake will travel to play USU Eastern in a rare Scenic West Athletic Conference opener early in the season. The game will be played Tuesday in Price.
