Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 23, 2019) - After a slow start to the season, the Salt Lake Community College baseball program is motoring along.

SLCC will open Scenic West Athletic Conference league play next weekend, traveling to play at Colorado Northwestern Community College. The four-game series will feature doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
Salt Lake 16, Treasure Valley 4: A slow start for the Bruins gave way to an impressive victory.Â
Several errors early gave Treasure Valley a solid 4-0 lead, with three SLCC errors paving the way to the win. However, SLCC got on the board shortly as consecutive singles set the tables for the Bruins. With two runners on, a balk sent
Tanner Argyle home and an Alex Bumpas sacrifice-fly RBI cut the TVCC deficit to 4-2.
Salt Lake surrendered another run due to an error but responded in a big way, scoring eight runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game. SLCC scored four more runs in the sixth inning as Bumpas hit a two-RBI triple.
Tanner Argyle's two-run inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning ended the game due to the run-rule.Â
Salt Lake 14, Treasure Valley 5: Early scores gave SLCC early control in the commanding victory.
Salt Lake scored two runs early as
Cole Gambill's sacrifice-fly RBI scored
