TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 27, 2018) - The No. 16 Salt Lake Community College women's soccer team didn't lose any ground in national polls last weekend, in spite of two tough matches.

The record left Salt Lake's season record at 7-1-1, with a record of 2-1-1 in league play. While there were bright moments and highlights in the tie, last weekend's results gave SLCCÂ an excellent opportunity to look ahead at opportunities for growth, in advance of hosting the College of Southern Nevada in Herriman this weekend.
"Last weekend certainly didn't go how we planned, but I think it gave our team an excellent chance to look inward at opportunities for growth," said SLCCÂ coach
Mark Davis. "The results gave us insight that wins can rarely give, and gave us some motivation going into this weekend's matchups against a very good Southern Nevada team."
Through three weekends of league play, Salt Lake sits a half-game behind Snow in the standings, with the next scheduled matchup between the foes coming on Oct. 20 at Zions Bank Stadium.
