Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 14, 2018) - The Salt Lake Community College Bruins continue to gain momentum in the Scenic West Athletic Conference, with the league's baseball programs taking notice.
After a slower start to the league season, the Bruins are peaking at the right time of the season and continue to add positive results in their favor, earning a doubleheader sweep at USU Eastern on Saturday. Salt Lake followed up a doubleheader split Friday with a 7-3 victory in game one and a 14-2 victory in game two.
The Bruins will now head into an extended break where they will have 10 days off, with their next game coming on Apr. 24 at USU Eastern in a non-league contest.

Fynn Chester had a no-hitter going into the fifth inning before USU Eastern broke it up. He would end up throwing a complete game in the SLCC victory.
Salt Lake 14, USU Eastern 2: Salt Lake filled the stat sheet with extra base hits, rolling to the run-rule victory over USU Eastern.
The Bruins took a 3-0 lead after the first inning, with Salt Lake hitting four doubles in a row in the fourth inning to score five runs. Salt Lake would stretch their lead to 10-2 after the inning.Â
Nick Seginowich drove in a run in the fifth inning, elevating Salt Lake's lead to 11-2. SLCC's offense finished with 18 hits.
