Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 9, 2018) - Warm weather and sunshine greeted the Salt Lake Community College baseball program with positivity Friday, as the Bruins took part in the College of Southern Nevada's Coyote Classic.
Salt Lake earned a win over Okanagan College before falling to South Mountain Community College, moving their season record to 3-3 on the season. SLCC earned a 7-6 victory over Okanagan and a 6-2 loss to South Mountain.

Damian Henderson had a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth inning, scoring two runs to give Salt Lake the win.
The Bruins held a 5-4 lead entering the ninth inning before Okanagan scored two runs to take a lead in to the home-half of the inning. SLCC trailed 4-0 early before clawing back into the game, scoring runs in their last five innings.Â
Paxton Freeman led Salt Lake at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and a double.

South Mountain 6, Salt Lake 2: South Mountain scored early and kept the Bruins from establishing momentum in game two of Salt Lake's Friday doubleheader.
South Mountain scored two runs in the first inning, taking a 3-0 lead after the third inning. The Bruins scored a pair of runs in the top of the fifth inning, cutting the deficit to 3-2, before South Mountain added more to the tally.
