Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team had three players in double figures and a strong first half to close out the season at home with a 62-53 victory over North Idaho College. Raushan Gultekin led Salt Lake scoring with 15 points and four assists. Cassidy Whitney had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Shelby Richards added 12 points as the Lady Bruins defeated North Idaho for the third time this season and advance as the number one seed in next week's Scenic West Athletic Conference Tournament to be held in Price, Utah. Monica Landdeck led North Idaho with 16 points. The Bruins closed the season with an overall record of 25-5 and 12-2 in SWAC.
