Brandon Morley Leads all scorers in closely contested Scenic West battle.

Brandon Morley came off the bench to lead all scorers with 17 points as the Bruins held off a feisty Snow College Badger team down the stretch to win 83-73.  Blake Wilkinson added 13 points and Zerrion Payton just missed a double double scoring 14 points and tallying 9 rebounds.  The Bruins lead 42-23 at half,  limiting Snow College to just 22% shooting in the first half. The Badgers chipped away at the lead and bought the game to within 3 points late in the second half before the Bruins finished the task.  Walter Wright, the Badgers leading scorer,   racked up 16 points in the loss.  The Snow College record runs to 17-9 on the season (6-5 in league play) while the Bruins extend their winning streak to 4 games winning 7 out of their last 8 games. 

The 22-5 Bruins (10-2 in league play) are now set to face # 5 ranked College of Southern Idaho on Thursday.  The Bruins trail the Golden Eagles by just one game in conference play with two games remaining.  The Bruins finish the regular season vs North Idaho College on Saturday.  Thursday's game is set to tip off at 8:00 pm while Saturday's game is slated for 7:00 pm.  Both games will be at the Lifetime Activities Center on the SLCC Taylorsville campus.
