Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- In overtime, the No. 15 Salt Lake Bruins defeated the Cougars of Western Nebraska 79-74. The game saw seven lead changes and three Bruins in double-digits. Salt Lake improves to 5-0 on the season.
Sophomore
Tyler Rawson led the Bruins posting a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals. Â Freshman
Conner Toolson tallied a game-high 23 points. Toolson hit three 3 point shots in thirty seconds putting him in double-digits within the first ten minutes of the game. Â Point guard
Austin Waddoups contributed 14 points and six assists.
The Cougars made the first jump shot of the game but the Bruins quickly took the lead extending it to as many as eleven in the first. SLCC went into the locker room up 39-29 at half.
Salt Lake came out extending their lead to twelve, which was the largest of the game. Western Nebraska tied the game at 43 a piece with 15:34 left in the game. The Cougars were only able to get two points up on the Bruins. With an ally-oop from

At the end of regulation, the game was tied. Salt Lake went on a 6-0 run in overtime to secure the win.
The Bruins will hit the road this weekend as they participate in the CSI Tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho. First, SLCC will face Chemeketa CC Nov. 20th at 5:30 p.m.
