TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- No.15 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball defeated conference opponents North Idaho 71-62 at home Thursday night. The Bruins improve to 16-3 on the season and 4-0 in conference.

The night ended with four Bruins in double-digits led by De'Sean Parsons who posted a game-high 20 points and tacked on eight rebounds. Blake Wilkinson contributed 14 points and eight rebounds. CJ Spjute tailed 14 points, hitting 4-of-4 from the three. Off the bench, Zerrion Payton added 14 points and six assists.

In the first, the lead changed nine times with the Bruins taking control of the game with 3:54 left on the clock. The Bruins biggest lead of the night was 10 after Brandon Morley connected on a jump shot with 2:05 left in the game.

The Bruins continue their home stretch when they face No. 3 College of Southern Idaho Saturday January 10. Tip-off is at 5 p.m.
