Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- Salt Lake Community College battled to the very end but fell to No. 3 College of Southern Idaho 79-70. The Bruins are now 19-5 on the season and 7-2 in the conference. SLCC is still sitting comfortably at the No. 2 position in the SWAC.
"We played catch up all night and got it to three late in the game," assistant coach
Paul Marble said. "We just could not get over the deficit."
As a team, the Bruins shot 45.5 percent for the free-throw line and had three players in double digits. SLCC was led by
De'Sean Parsons who posted a game-high 22 points.
Marcus White added 12 points and nine rebounds.
Zerrion Payton contributed 11 points, six rebounds and four steals.
SLCC hits the road to take on North Idaho College January 31, at 5 p.m.
