Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- #15 Salt Lake Community College had five players in double-digits in their win over College of Southern Idaho 85-59 Saturday night. The Bruins took the lead in the first minute of the game and never looked back. Â
The Bruins were led by
Cassidy Whitney who posted a double-double with 14 points and a season-high 16 rebounds.Â
Clarissa Sabedra added 17 points and seven assists, while
Shelby Richards tacked on 17 points. Rounding out the night,
Raushan Gultekin contributed 10 points and five assists.
Off the bench,
Elsa Paulsson Glantz racked up 17 points and nine rebounds. Glantz shot 67 percent from the field and 80 percent from the three, connecting on 4-of-5.
SLCC led by as many as 22 in the first when Glantz connected on a three. The Bruins went into the locker room up 53-26.
After half, the Bruins extended their lead to 66-36 with two perfectly execute Sabedra free-throws. SLCC out rebounded CSI 42-to-26 and shot 56 percent from the field.
