SALT LAKE CITY—The No. 17-ranked SLCC Men's Basketball team (18-3, 5-1 SWAC) won its fourth straight game by defeating Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Snow College (10-10, 1-5 SWAC) 87-67 on Saturday night at Bruin Arena.

The Bruins remain unbeaten at home with a record of 7-0 at Bruin Arena. SLCC is in second place in the SWAC standings behind rival College of Southern Idaho (19-2, 5-1 SWAC) by virtue of a head-to-head loss to the Golden Eagles.

Stats vs. CSI: SLCC sophomore guard Gary Payton II (Las Vegas, NV) led all scorers with 29 points and had three rebounds, five assists and four steals in the winning effort. Sophomore guard Jaden Jackson (Salt Lake City, UT) added 19 points on 5-of-8 from three point range and freshman guard De'Sean Parsons (Sacramento, CA) turned in 15 points with five assists. Freshman forward Neal Monson (Sandy, UT) finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Next up for Head Coach Todd Phillips and the Bruins is a home matchup with SWAC rival North Idaho College on Thursday, Jan. 23 at Bruin Arena with tipoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
