SLCC Baseball's doubleheader on Saturday against USU-Eastern takes place on the annual Swing for Life Day. Join the Bruins and Swing for Life Foundation as they work to knock breast cancer out of the park!
The SLCC Baseball players will be wearing pink jerseys during game one of the doubleheader and will sign them for sale during a silent auction that will be held during game two. Fans are also encouraged to wear their best pink to show their support for this fantastic cause.
The Swing for Life Foundation, headed by Rowland Hall High School softball coach Kathy Howa, will also have a table set up to sell special breast cancer awareness merchandise. All proceeds raised from the jersey auction and item sales will go directly to funding breast cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and its newly created Swing for Life area of the hospital.
Don't miss out on the chance to see some great Bruin Baseball and support those who have and will be affected by this terrible affliction. The Bruins and Swing for Life Foundation thank you for your participation--Go Bruins!
