Saturday's SLCC Baseball and Softball doubleheaders have again been moved to local high schools due to unplayable conditions at Cate Field and Bruin Field. Late night snowfall has made the Bruins' home playing surfaces unplayable for the day.
SLCC Baseball (21-9, 15-5 SWAC) will square off with the College of Southern Idaho (16-19, 5-11 SWAC) at
Weber High School with first pitch of game one moved back to 12:30 p.m. SLCC defeated CSI in both games on Friday, winning by scores of 7-5 and 11-1.
Bruin Softball (27-4, 21-1 SWAC) will face Colorado Northwestern (0-22, 0-22 SWAC) at
Roy High School for the second consecutive day. First pitch for game one is set for Noon. The
No. 3 ranked Bruins topped the Spartans twice on Friday, winning by scores of 8-0 and 15-0. Bruin sophomore pitcher
MaCauley Flint (Roy, UT) returned to her former home playing field in high school and pitched a perfect game in the day's opening contest.
