No. 15 SLCC Men's Basketball gets set for SWAC matchup with in-state rival Snow College this week
Salt Lake City, UT—The
No. 15-ranked SLCC Men's Basketball team (21-3, 9-1 SWAC) has just one game on tap for this week, a Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) matchup with in-state opponent Snow College (17-7, 5-5 SWAC) on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Bruin Arena.
The Bruins defeated Snow College 67-66 when the teams first met on Jan. 19 in Ephraim, UT on a last-second shot made by sophomore forward
JuWan Buchanan (Seattle, WA). The Bruins are tied for first place in the SWAC with North Idaho College at 9-1 in conference play.
Saturday's game against Snow takes place on Alumni Night for SLCC Basketball, with players and coaches from years past being honored with halftime ceremonies and postgame receptions.
SLCC has won 17 of its last 18 contests and is averaging 85.4 points scored per outing, led by sophomore guard
Skyler Halford (Orem, UT) with 17.6 points per game. Second on the team in scoring is freshman forward
