Freshman infielder Robert Grilli (Mississauga, ONT) was 3-for-4 at the plate and freshman outfielder Zach Watts (West Jordan, UT) was 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the losing effort.

Sophomore utility player Palmer Page (Saratoga Springs, UT) was 3 for 5 at the plate with a home run and two RBIs, and sophomore outfielder Steven Adam (Tecumseh, ONT) was 2 of 4 batting with a sacrifice fly to bring in a run.
