Baseball: No. 5 Bruins Complete the Sweep of USU-CEU
Price, UT- The 5
th ranked SLCC Baseball team completed the four game sweep over Eastern Utah winning 11-2 and 11-1. The two wins moves Salt Lake's record to 38-6 overall and 29-4 in conference play.
Rhett Parkinson got the game one win going three innings with five strikeouts.
Tyson Popoff was 2 for 3 with a double and a homerun.
Kennedy Kinkade went 2 for 3 with a double and
Bryan Heward was 3 for 3.
Four pitchers combined for the game two win with Mike Springer getting the win.
Dominique Taylor was 3 for 5 with a double and
Nathan Fishel drove home a run with a triple.
The Bruins return home on May 4
th to host Western Nevada in a four game series that will determine the SWAC Champion.
