Baseball: No. 5 Bruins Scatter 26 hits to Smash CEU
Price, UT- The 5
th ranked SLCC Baseball team scattered 26 hits over 10 innings of play as the dismantled Eastern Utah pitching in two five inning wins. The Bruins won game one 17-1 and game two 14-0. The two wins puts #5 SLCC's record at 36-6 overall and 27-4 in conference play.
Six Bruins finished game one with multiple hits led by
Kennedy Kinkade going 2 for 3 with a home run and a double.
Steven Adam went 2 for 3 with a double.
Tanner Banks and
Brennen Flaherty combined to get the win allowing one earned run.
Ruddy Acosta and
Bronson Anderson combined in the game two win with seven strikeouts over five innings of work. Adam was 2 for 4 with two doubles and four runs driven in and
Tyson Popoff was 2 for 3 with a double and triple.
Dalton Gust was 3 for 3 with three RBI and a double.
