Salt Lake City- The seventh ranked SLCC Bruin Baseball team split the double header with Southern Idaho dropping game one 8-5 and winning game two 10-0. The loss breaks Salt Lake's 14 game winning streak at home. Salt Lake is now 34-6 overall and 25-4 in conference play.
In the game one loss
Dominique Taylor was 3 for 4 with an RBI and
Tyson Popoff was 2 for 4. A four run fifth inning by Southern Idaho put the Eagles ahead for good.
The Bruins came back in the final game of the series with vengeance. Defeating Southern Idaho 10-0 in a run rule shortened game.
Braden Anderson was 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI and
Matt Medina knocked a triple to finish 1 for 2.
Ruddy Acosta got the complete game win with six strikeouts.
