SALT LAKE CITY- The SLCC Men's basketball team handed Colorado Northwestern a 94-70 defeat to earn their 1st conference win.  The SLCC bench was in command scoring 51 points led by Davis Emery (11 pts), Stephane Manga (11 pts) and Darian Cartharn (10 pts).  As a team Salt Lake shot 56% from the field while CNCC shot a dismal 32% from three point land.  With the win Salt Lake is now 14-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Six Bruins finished in double digits with Gabe Kindred leading the attack.  Kindred scored 12 points with three steals and three assists.  Skylar Halford added 11 points with seven rebounds and Louis Garrett scored 10.  The quick handed Bruins forced 23 turnovers which led to 39 points and Salt Lake sunk 68% of their shots from the charity stripe.

The Bruins (14-4, 1-2) look to even their conference record as they do battle with USU-Eastern Utah in Bruin Arena tomorrow, tip-off scheduled for 5:00 pm.
