CARSON CITY, NV- The SLCC Baseball team took a 11-3 loss to Western Nevada and bounced back to defeat Southern Idaho 8-3.  With the win over Southern Idaho Salt Lake moves on for a re-match against Western Nevada in the Region 18 Championship game.

Rudy Acosta went six innings picking up the win allowing two runs with three strikeouts.  Kennedy Kinkade went 3 for 3 with a double, home run and two RBIs.  Braden Anderson and Tyson Popoff were 2 for 4 apiece and Derrick Whitney picked up a pinch hit RBI in the seventh. 

The Bruins will face off against Western Nevada in the Championship game, first pitch is set for noon in Carson City, Nevada.
