CARSON CITY, NV – The SLCC Baseball team opened up the Region 18 tournament with a 10-5 win over Southern Idaho.  Salt Lake (44-13) combined for 11 team hits and will face number one seed Western Nevada tomorrow at 9:30 am.

Adam Gunn picked up the win going five innings and Jordan Hager threw three scoreless innings in relief.  Sean Moysh brought the offensive power mashing two home runs going 2 for 4 with two RBIs.  Kennedy Kinkade was 2 for 4 and Eddy Alverez drove home three runs going 2 for 4.
