PRICE, UTAH (April 23, 2010) – The SLCC Baseball team took two wins from Eastern Utah today 11-1 and 16-5. The Bruins are now 30-14 overall and 21-10 in the Secinc West. Jeremey Atkinson threw six strong innings allowing no runs while striking out seven batters. Zack Swasey hit a home run and drove in two runs finishing 2-4, JR Roland was 3-4 with two doubles and Bo Fisher was 3-4 with home run. Brett Nathan picked up the win in game two with James Mahler throwing one inning with two strikeouts. Swasey finished 3-4 with a double and a home run. Kyle Bilbry was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle finishing 3-5 with a triple, double and a single and Kasey Carling was a perfect 3-3. The Bruins return to the field to take on Eastern Utah again in a double header tomorrow in Price, Utah SLCC 11 SLCC 16 CEU 1 CEU 5
