SALT LAKE CITY  (November 9, 2010) – The SLCC Women's Basketball team has opened the 2010 season with four wins.  The Bruins will host the annual SLCC Tournament this weekend with games against Northwest College and Eastern Arizona.  Sophomore Haley Holmstead leads the nation in scoring with 30.7 points per game.  The Bruins jumped 10 spots in the recent NJCAA poll as they now sit #15.
