White 12 kills 7 aces 13 digs, Turner 9 kills, C Charry 32 sets

 SALT LAKE CITY (October 30, 2010) – The SLCC Bruin Volleyball team closed out the regular season with a significant 3-0 win over Southern Idaho.  With the win Salt Lake leaps Snow and Southern Idaho for the second seed at the Regional Tournament.   The Bruins finish the regular season with a 25-5 overall record and 6-4 in conference play. 

 Ame White dominated the match finishing with match highs in aces (7), kills (12) and digs (13). Kellie Turner added nine kills and Erika Charry finished with six kills.  Defensively, Salt Lake held CSI to a .113 hitting percentage and combined for 8.5 team blocks.  The Bruins stayed perfect at home this season with a 9-0 record.

 Salt Lake (25-5, 6-4) will travel to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho for the Region 18 Tournament starting on November 5^th.  Salt Lake receives a first round bye and will face the winner between the three seed and six seed.
