Salt Lake City, Utah-  No. 17 SLCC Softball (30-10) swept the SWAC Players of the Week Awards once again, as the Bruins are coming off a four game sweep over Snow College. 

SWAC Pitcher of the Week, LHP Brecka Larson had a flawless weekend as she pitched two complete game shutouts. In the Bruins 9-0 win in five innings Larson struck out 11 batters and allowed only two hits. The following day, Brecka pitched seven innings and recorded 9 strikeouts in SLCC's 4-0 win. Larson has now eclipsed 11 strikeouts in a game three times. 

CF Lahela Painter was named the SWAC Player of the Week. Painter went 6-11 (.545) and walked three times in the recent series. Lahela showcased her speed as she stole six bases and plated six runs. Painter drove in the last two runs of the Bruins 7-5 victory against the Badgers.
