Salt Lake City, Utah- No. 1 seed Salt Lake lost to No. 2 seed Southern Idaho 10-2 in five innings.
CSI jumped to a 4-0 lead with three first inning home runs. The Golden Eagles added a run in the third and five runs in the top of the fourth. Salt Lake plated two runs in the bottom of the fourth off a sac-fly from Irma Medina and an RBI double from Jettlee Ioane. It is a double-elimination tournament and Salt Lake will play later today.
