TWIN FALLS, Idaho- The No. 2 seed Bruins went 1-1 on day 2 of the Region 18 Tournament. 

The Bruins first lost 8-0 to CSI. The Golden Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and took off from there. The Bruin batters recorded four singles and three walks in the game. 

Salt Lake beat North Idaho 6-3 to finish out the day. CF Savannah Lewis went 4 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored. RF Irma Medina added an insurance run with a solo home run. RHP Aubrie Hansen recorded the win for the Bruins. 

Up Next
The Bruins are still alive in the double elimination tourney and will play tomorrow against CSI at noon. Salt Lake needs to beat CSI twice in a row in order to be region champs.
