Box Score 4 PRICE, Utah (March 15-16, 2025)- No. 17 SLCC Softball (17-4, 4-4) won three out of four games over USU-Eastern in the Bruins first conference series on the road.
The Bruins won the first three games in five innings each time and outscored the Eagles 33-0.
Mataeya Trellert, Taylor Hagen, and Aubrie Hansen all picked up a win for Salt Lake. The three starting pitchers combined for 15 scoreless innings and 19 strikeouts.
Ellie Pond hit a Grand Slam in game one for Salt Lake and recorded three extra-base hits in the series. In four games, Paige Shumway hit three home runs and drove in eight batters against her former team.
USU-Eastern won game four 9-7. The Eagles scored six runs in the second inning and held onto their early lead.

Salt Lake will stay on the road and play a four game series at Snow College on March 21st and 22nd.
