LUBBOCK, Texas (March 7-8)- Freshman Jayden Holdsworth shined at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships by winning the 3000m race. With 600m to go in the race Holdsworth got in front and never looked back. Jayden is now the second Bruin male runner to win an individual championship in the programs short history. 

The SLCC Men's team took 8th place overall. 

Men's All-Americans: 

Skyler Roper- Mile 5th place

Jackson Henstrom- 3000m 5th place

Michael Maiorano- 5000m- 5th place

Porter Whitworth- 5000m- 6th place

4x800- Jackson Henstrom, Michael Maiorano, Porter Whitworth, Jayden Holdsworth- 4th place

The SLCC Women's team took 12th place overall

Women's all-Americans: 

Avery Jensen- 800m 5th place

Lindsey Lopes- 800m 8th place

Elayna Loveridge- Mile- 7th place 

Angelina Lione- 3000m 8th place

Angela Denisse Salado Fernandez- 5000m- 5th Place

4x800- Angelina Lione, Tabi Henrie, Katie Reaveley, Elayna Loveridge- 4th Place
