COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho (Saturday, January 11, 2025)- No. 4 Salt Lake Men's Basketball (14-5) picked up the win at North Idaho (11-7) defeating the Cardinals 80-69. 

Sophomore Xavier Edmonds led Salt Lake with 21 points in his return. X went a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line. The Bruins as a team went 21-23 from the charity stripe. 

Sophomore Mason Bendinger had another efficient game going 7-9 from the field en route to 16 points. 

Ethan Copeland and Chudi Anosike added 15 points and 11 points off the bench for the Bruins. 

Both Edmonds and sophomore Trey Brown recorded 3 steals for Salt Lake. Edmonds also tallied two blocks. 

Vaughn Weems played all 40 minutes and dropped 34 points for North Idaho in the loss.
