WEST JORDAN, Utah (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)—Salt Lake infielder Garrett Bauer has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week after finishing with at least two hits and a stolen base in every game of a sweep over the visiting Colorado Northwestern Spartans.

The freshman collected ten hits in 12 at-bats while drawing two walks and not striking out once. Bauer stole four bases, scored five runs, and drove in three against the Spartans.

For the season, Bauer leads the Bruins with a .424 batting average. The former Skyridge Falcon has 15 extra-base hits, including five home runs, 26 RBI, and 12 stolen bases.
