TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Wednesday, February 21, 2024) – No. 7 Salt Lake proved its ability to adjust under adversity, turning what was initially scheduled as a home game into a 138-61 decimation of Community Christian College on Wednesday night.

SLCC hit 21 threes, led by a 7-of-11 from deep performance out of reigning SWAC POTW Jordan Battle. Battle finished with 28 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Freshman Mason Bendinger led all scorers with a career-high 31 points and five rebounds. Mikhail Abdul-Hamid hit eight threes to end the night with his career-high of 28 points, five boards, and five assists. CJ Luster fell one rebound shy of a triple-double, adding 14 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds. 

The Bruins play one more game against CCC on Thursday, February 22. Tip-off is at 5 p.m. MT.
