TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (August 18, 2022) - Inclement weather forced the cancellation of the season openers for the nationally ranked Salt Lake Community College Soccer programs.

Both the SLCC Men's-and-Women's Soccer programs were set to open their seasons in Florida on Thursday, facing off against NJCAA contender Daytona State. Lightning forced the cancellation of matches for both SLCC programs.

Salt Lake is scheduled to play Eastern Florida State on Saturday, with the SLCC Women's program scheduled to play at 6:00 p.m. The SLCC Men's program will play at 8:00 p.m.
