Price, Utah- No. 7 Salt Lake (4-0) started off conference play with a 3-1 victory over USU-Eastern (2-3).
The Bruins trailed early as the Eagles scored in the fourth minute of the game. Salt Lake equalized as a nice pass from Natalie Shober allowed Keagan Grange to get behind USU-Eastern's back line and score.
In the 28th minute Alyssa Boydston hit the side netting with a left footed shot to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead. Seanna Harris recorded the assist. In the 54th minute Kenley Parkinson struck the ball from outside of the box at what seemed like an impossible angle. The ball went over the keeper and into the top left corner, making it 3-1 Salt Lake.
