Herriman, Utah- It was a tale of two halves as No. 6 Salt Lake (7-0-1) prevailed in an exciting 3-1 victory over CSI (4–2-0).
In the 17th minute CSI found the back of the net after a partially saved ball led to chaos in the box and a goal for the Golden Eagles.
Salt Lake finally got a break when they were awarded a pen in the 68th minute after a foul in the box. Seanna Harris buried the PK and from there the Bruins turned the game around. Keagan Grange gave Salt Lake the lead in the 77th minute and Harris put the game to bed with another goal. Kennedy Prestwich recorded the only assist of the game.
The Bruins had 9 shots on target and the Golden Eagles had 3 shots on goal.
