Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (May 6, 2022) – The Salt Lake Community College Softball team posted a pair of dominant performances against an in-state rival Friday.

SLCC earned victories of 4-1 and 5-1 at Snow College, moving to 4-1 against the Lady Badgers. The Bruins are now 33-15 overall and 28-10 in Scenic West games with the victories.

Salt Lake and Snow will play another doubleheader on Saturday.

Salt Lake 4, Snow 1: A mixture of players helped the Bruins to a strong win.

Lyndsey Madrigal hit a home run in the third inning, helping SLCC to a then-2-0 lead.
Jayci Finch was also effective in the pitching circle for Salt Lake, throwing seven innings and finishing with three strikeouts.Â

Kaylee Pierce went 3-of-3 to lead SLCC at the plate.

Salt Lake 5, Snow 1: SLCC won thanks to a dominant pitching performance from
Bailey Frischknecht.Â

Frishknecht went seven innings, allowing a single run on four hits while striking out five Snow batters.
Lyndsey Madrigal went 2-of-4 in the victory, helping jumpstart a rally that saw the Bruins scored three runs in the third inning to take a lead they would never relinquish.
